Who processes your data?

Historigame is published by Tristan De Meyere, which determines the purposes of processing your data. For any question regarding your personal data, contact cytshilebe@gmail.com .

Data we collect

• Your email address (provided by Google when you log in)
• The username you choose
• Your game results (guessed figure, attempts, points, date)
• The guesses you make during a game
• The leagues you create, join or are invited to

We do not collect any browsing data for advertising or analytics purposes: Historigame currently uses no audience-analytics tool or advertising tracker.

Why we collect it

• Create and secure your player account
• Display your username and scores to other players (leaderboards, leagues)
• Let you retrieve the history of your games
• Run the leagues (invitations, shared rankings)

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the contract between you and Historigame when you create an account (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Who your data is shared with

Your data is processed by the following sub-processors, which are necessary for the site to function:

• Supabase (database hosting and authentication management), infrastructure located in Ireland (European Union)
• Google (login provider via your Google account)
• Vercel Inc. (technical hosting of the site), a company based in the United States — data transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses

Your data is neither sold, used for advertising purposes, nor shared with any other third parties.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which results in the deletion of your personal data, your game history, and your league memberships. If you are the creator of a league at the time of deletion, that league is also deleted for all of its members.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data. You can:

• Change your username directly from the Profile page
• Opt out of the global leaderboard via a toggle in your profile
• Delete your account and all your data directly from your profile
• Contact us at cytshilebe@gmail.com for any other request regarding your data

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (for example the Data Protection Authority in Belgium, or the CNIL in France).

Cookies

Historigame uses only a strictly necessary cookie for the site to function: the one that keeps your login session active. This cookie does not require prior consent, in accordance with applicable regulations, because it is essential to the operation of the service you explicitly request (staying logged in). No advertising or analytics cookie is used.
